RSD Preview Party

You are cordially invited to our annual RSD Preview Party on Friday, April 17th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

This year, we have partnered with FeedMore WNY. Entry to the preview party requires a donation of two canned goods or non-perishable items. Highly requested items include:

– Cereal

– Peanut or other nut butters

– Canned tuna and chicken

– Canned soups, stews, and chili

– Canned fruit and vegetables

– Canned or dried beans

– Boxed mac & cheese

– Pasta and rice

– Spaghetti sauce

– Baby formula and diapers

Come hang out, give back to the community, and get an exclusive sneak peek at all the RSD products before Record Store Day on April 18th. For more details regarding RSD, please check our social media pages and recent posts.

RSD 2026 Requests

Please read all the info!

We need your help deciding WHAT & HOW MUCH of each we need to order.

If you plan to shop with us on April 18th for RSD, it is SUPER IMPORTANT you fill the form out. Requests are due by MONDAY FEBRUARY 16TH.

This is NOT A PRE ORDER and nothing is guaranteed, but if you don’t fill the form out there is less of a change you see what you want in the bins on RSD.

The form is the ONLY WAY for us to account for requests. Please DO NOT messgae, email, call, text, comment. This helps us stay organized.

  • Access the form!
  • Please include the Artist, Title & Format. There are CD releases that are also coming out on LP, so please be clear. If there is an artist release multiple titles, please specify what you want, i.e. not just “Gateful Dead”
  • If you forget something, go back and resubmit ONLY WHAT YOU FORGOT. Do not resubmit you whole list.

Please know that we do not “Know” what we are getting. We submit our orders now, then get allocated quanities and we find that out the week OF RSD. So hang tight!

RSD 2026 FAQ

Everything you need to know for Record Store Day is here! From info, to rules, tips, and reminders, it is all here. Please contact us with any questions beyond this list.

APRIL 18, 2026 ———– 8AM

  • No Pre-Orders or Holds
    • All titles are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Filling out our interest form does not guarantee a copy; the form simply serves as a guide to help us determine our order quantities. We will not hold or save items for anyone based on the list.
  • Store Layout
    • Items will be displayed in the back of the store (stage area), organized alphabetically. Certain titles may be separated to improve store flow and prevent congestion.
  • The Line and Conduct
    • Customers often line up early, sometimes starting the night before. This is entirely personal preference. Please note that we do not use a ticketing or numbering system; the order of the line is managed by the customers themselves.
    • We ask that you please respect our property and parking lot. We maintain a family-friendly environment, so please ensure you leave your area clean and dispose of all trash properly.
  • Store Entry and Safety
    • We will pause the line when we open to control the number of people inside, ensuring a comfortable and safe shopping experience. Please be patient, as the line usually moves quickly. We have a zero-tolerance policy for pushing or shoving; anyone engaging in such behavior will be asked to leave.
  • Availability and Allocations
    • We do not know the exact quantities of each title until they arrive. Because Record Store Day titles are allocated across the entire country, we may receive fewer copies than requested. To prevent flipping and ensure equal opportunity, we do not release specific prices or quantities ahead of time.
  • Purchasing Limits
    • Each customer is limited to one copy of each title. You may not purchase multiple copies of the same title, even if purchasing for a friend.
  • Online Sales and Social Media
    • Online sales for remaining stock will begin Sunday, April 19, at 8:00 AM. We will also post previews of the stock we receive on our Instagram: @hifihits.
  • Preview Party
    • We will be hosting a Preview Party on Friday, April 17. Please refer to our separate post for full details regarding this event.
